Summer is here

All in all a great summer vacation week for the boys. We went and signed up at the library for the summer reading program and then the next day went to another library for a great story time. We had the girls over for a half day on Wed and played outside a lot. Then on Thursday we met friends at the zoo and had a really nice time.



Then Friday we went to a local strawberry farm rode a tractor and picked fresh strawberries. Okay, so the boys actually ate more than they picked but we ended up with a bunch, enough for strawberry shortcakes for dessert. I actually made strawberry jam today for the first time. I'll update on how that turned out soon.





We went to the Farmer's Market at the Capitol square and actually went into the Capitol and went up to the observation deck. What a great view of Madison.





We did some gardening and played outside a lot this weekend. All is well and life is good.
